I gave myself my first injection of Methotrexate today at the hospital. I am so proud of myself as I am quite scared of needles and at first I didn't think I could do it. However I did it and I can honestly say it hardly hurt at all and I am actually looking forward to the challenge of doing it proficiently next week so that I can then do them at home. I hope this is encouraging to others who are nervous about this in the future.

Well done - i remember you have a bit of a needle phobia too!
It really is the thought of doing it that's the worst bit
Good luck for next week and i hope the MTX works really well for you

Hi Naomi

Well done. It is a scary thing to do but always seems to be much easier than first thought.
